Heat & Humidity Hair Help

Going to college in Texas in the fall is going to bring about a lot of change. I might start saying y'all, I will begin wearing cowboy boots, and I will be eating a lot of barbecue. I am very excited about all the change to come. Except, there is one thing I am not looking forward to: my frizzy hair. The second I step into the Texas heat and humidity, my hair explodes. Luckily, I found two solutions! These are some of my favorite in-shower hair products.

Shea Butter & Coconut Oil Hair Mask by Trader Joe's - This mask is perfect for when you feel as though your hair has become dry, damaged, and frizzy. Lather your hair from roots to ends after shampooing and let sit for 3-5 minutes before rinsing. Use the mask 2-3 times a week to see shiny and soft hair! Problem solving solution that fits into the college budget.

Perfect hair Day™ In-Shower Style by Living Proof - This product is a styler that helps create air-dried styles with softness, natural texture, and shine. After shampooing and conditioning your hair as usual, apply the cream from your roots to ends. Then, lightly rinse your hair. After getting out of shower, you can put your hair in braids or buns and let it air dry for best results.  Sometimes I sleep in a braid to wake up with soft wavy hair.  You can add other styling products on top as well to create your specific style.
