Here are some hair hints & products that we love.

Helpful Hints:

Do not wash your hair everyday.  Hold out for as many days as possible. Put your hair in a bun or wear a cute scarf to extend your time.  Use dry shampoo, it’s a lifesaver.  It can be used after a workout to revive hair as well. Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo.

Once every 7 to 10 days sleep with a deep conditioner in your hair.  If you workout in the morning, put hair in ponytail, and wash when you finish your workout.  If you shower again in the morning just rinse and style.  You can also style many different ways with the conditioner still in, and even add styling products on top. Argan oil hair mask.

Always use a heat protection product before blowing dry or straightening. Kenra Platinum Blow Dry Spray. This product is the best and even cuts down on blow dry time. Bonus!

Color treated hair is special (and expensive) You need to preserve it as much as possible.  Color extenders are key.  Nexxus color Assure pre-wash primer.

A new form of coloring is called Balayage hair color.  It has a soft and very natural look.  Perfect for a young adults first go at hair coloring.

Good straightners and high end blowdryers are less harsh on your hair.  It is a very worthy investment. Solia brand is rated the highest.

Accept your hair.  Ask your friends their opinion on your hairstyle.  It is so easy to get stuck in a rut with your hair routine.  Many people who continuously straighten their hair would look gorgeous with there natural wavy/curly hair.  With the proper products for your specific hair type, you will be amazed.
